I was looking to work on something ‘different’ for a change, and in a fit of nostalgia for a bygone era I somehow missed, I stumbled back upon SIMH. Think of it as MAME for old gear, well, ok, MESS. Anyhow, I see that since I tinkered with it last, oh, cough years ago, there’s Ethernet support for pdp11 and vax.
Diving into the code, I see it uses pcap. Woohoo! I can do that! Sadly, though, it built and runs perfectly fine by itself. ;)
